Dear Harald.

„You are completely mad, my friend“ I couldn’t agree more! But I got used to it. Feels quite good, really.

„Why do you go to such expense and so much trouble!“: Now listen here, $2 per empty CD and $7 postage and surely I can pinch a few CD’s from the library for my good friend? Isn’t that what one calls a labour of love? As long as you like them. Today or tomorrow they should arrive.

I still wanted to send you the „Under a sourthern sun“ CD but like I said, after I had repaired the sound on my PC, I no longer liked the pictures. I could write novels about it. Often I watch TV with the sound turned off. What they come up with often goes on my nerves. Never mind. It could be that I have some sort of tick. But back to the CD. You can select the Australian Artists. Top left hand side is a circle. If you click on this a menu appears from which you can make various selections. Try it. It’s interesting. Although I don’t know if you are interested in Art. If not then throw it away immediately. By the way, the entire collection has been pirated. So don’t pass it on to anybody else. Or they may lock me up. And that is too much even for love!

„I really didn’t deserve this“. Oh, you poor thing.

„I only did it, because for me it was part of working through the situation, and I had the impression that you know how to deal with these situations. I thank you for listening to me“. That was also a service to a friend. It’s a bit like confession. When you can have a good talk about something, you look at the situation from a different perspective.

As to the funeral, it appears we have different opinions. Since we have been in Australia I was fortunate to only have to take part in one such celebration. And then I saw the funeral for Princess Diana. And then I had enough, for life! Hedwig and I are of the same opinion. Please put us into a cardboard box and then bury it somewhere. Please no big service. I don’t have any thing against drowing ones sorrows so to speak but that should be all!

„Old age commences in 2002 for me with part time work.“ You’ve lost me here. Can you (once again, I have asked for this before) explain to me what the connection here is to old age? Only in a few words.

„I will sleep on it.“ The only thing to do. Keep your peace. You will wake up one morning and know what you have to do. I was going to unpack my I Ching and referr to it. The best thing for such situations. But I am out of practice and would have to relearn it. The oracal in ancient times were not as mad as we think. Of course with todays scientific knowlege the oracls would  not know how to react.

Yes, and many thanks for your work with the story. I have been using a grammar checker since I have been writing with the computer. My hands don’t always do what I ask of them. Instead of D I write K, in otherwords instead of left, right, often I write half of the word back to front and with the vowels I get totally mixed up, because I have an American keyboard and I loaded the german keyboard from MS WORD onto it. And then there is the problem with Z and Y which are exchanged. But besides all this, I have learned a lot of of English and German through this Program. And if I would continue with my Italian studies I would do the same. So with your friendly and very valuable help and the grammar program, my german is slowly improving. I am very happy about that.

I hope that I can soon continue writing on Jonah. I just can’t get the start. But that will come. One morning I will wake up and then there will be a breakthrough.
