Dear Harald,

Here you have a photo of Gerd. As you can see he is just as fat and as tall as you and I, he also has the same bald patch. So you won’t be able to miss him.

As to his personal details. His family are:

Gerd, Linda, Emma (16), Amy (13), Ben (9)

He started in sound recording, when he was 15. He had completed his technical schooling a year early and was (for that time) a year too young to get into Tafe. Against my instructions to go for the matric, he stormed out of school and home (a family habit, or tradition) and started as apprentice with a record company. After that he worked himself up with various radio and TV stations until in the end he was technical lead with channel 7. Then he became bored with all the admin work and resigned. Now he works freelance. His next job is with the Olympics. Gerd and Linda own their own home.

Now you have at least a bit of the family background.
