Horses are incompatible.

Now lets continue. We (she and I) are not compatible. We were both born in the year of the horse. Doesn't fit together. They are not good for marriage. Horses are too headstrong. Horses can be very good friends, but they won't make good partners. Horses don't give in, they pursue what they want.
My own comments to that: that puts it in a nutshell, couldn't be expressed any better or more precisely.
What glued us together was our common interest in a big healthy family. We have headstrongly pursued what we wanted, luckily it was one and the same thing.
On the other hand we now discover more and more how different we actually are. Almost nothing exists to which we don't have differing opinions. We noticed this even when we were younger, and often via "hard bangs", because very often we could not understand what the other person was saying, wanted or believed. But one characteristic we had in common: super tolerance and as far as the children were concerned there were no differences of opinion that could not be overcome. And in any case, here she was the boss, and she still is today! Of course I am the father and ultimate chief. But I never make any decision we have not been able to agree on. As far as family is concerned that's it! In other areas, we each do as we like, as long as it doesn't hurt the other. Like was stated above, we are very good friends.
We sometimes went through very difficult times together. And now we know that this was unavoidable.
